Bohemian Jogja Villa is located on the strategic northern side of Yogyakarta with easy access to cafes, restaurants, shops, malls, bars, entertainment, and public services. The location though is not really in the central, however, the access and distance to some popular places in Jogjakarta are still reasonable.
In my opinion, the fact that Bohemian Jogja Villas has two locations that are located opposite from each other across the street has its advantages. It makes the property more private and quiet even though there are cafes next to the property. They also can offer more rooms as needed without compromising the tranquillity.
The reception area is modest and simple. The check-in process takes little time. The hospitality is great. That’s the basic requirement that every hotel should have. Although there is a little issue with the reservation, they respond to it well and all is solved quickly. There is a large parking area and 24-hour staff are available onsite.
We took up the family room that has two queen-sized beds in one room with a full bathroom and private pool. The room size is adequate for four people as it is intended for. The level of cleanliness of the unit deserves a thumbs up. The bathroom is bright, spacious, and equipped with hot water.
Aside from that, there is a smart TV and Wi-Fi to catch our favourite Netflix show at night after a long day out, if we prefer. Or we can leave all that technology completely and just enjoy some drinks that we keep in the chiller in the room and have a good time chit-chatting with our friends or family.
My most favourite is the pool area with the outdoor couch – a space where we can gather together while enjoying the sky with a cup of tea or coffee. The size of the swimming pool itself is big enough for a little swim or relaxing dip.
Breakfast is delivered to our room in a time slot between 7 to 10 am depending on our request. If we prefer something fun and fancier, we can request a floating breakfast with a minimum of meals for two pax to enjoy while dipping in the swimming pool.

The simplicity of the room with a touch of Bohemian style is shown through the decoration used and colour choices. I love the ambience. Truly. For those who have ever stayed at this little compound of villa before would easily agree that the villa is indeed pretty charming.

The prices may be different during peak or holiday seasons. Just take note that they are often fully booked. So, reservation in advance is highly recommended.
