    I Know that Star’s Name

” As I could remember when I look up at night, I always see them. “

First I noticed of their presences was when I went to a church retreat at Puncak. At our last night, I sat down on the grass meanwhile waiting for the rest to set up the BBQ fire. I saw these shining things in the sky. It brought a deep impression to me as they shined brightly and in one row. They just caught up my attention.

And I don’t know since when I have kept this habit. Whenever I feel troubled or want to take some time to be alone to think out of something, I like to stroll alone in the night or on a motorcycle with my friend, just unwind with the wind blow and the silence of the night. I looked up to the sky and I noticed, again and again, they are there.

Then I started to know, I can see them in the sky no matter where ever I go. I really don’t know why they are there. But I feel happy to see them. I am amazed by them. It’s been years and years, I like to see them but I never ever curious to find out if there is a name for the stars.

It’s only when I went to Bintan with a group of my friends, and when the night came, I looked up to the sky again, the night sky was a true beauty. The whole sky as far as my eyes could see, it’s filled with stars! That’s my first time to see such night sky!

“That’s the Orion,” said my friend suddenly.

I looked to the direction where my friend pointing at the stars that I’ve been loving to see all these times! So, they have the name? Oh my, now then I feel stupid of myself. It must be very famous. Why I don’t even know about it? How could I miss it!

You must have seen them before. When the sky is clear at night especially after rain. Just look up and you will find them.

    “Orion”

Now I know the name of the three bright stars in a row. 🙂

[It is well-known as Orion’s Belt or The Belt Orion].
