Printic: Brings Back the Memories with Personal Touch

Whether we notice it or not, it’s getting more and more people taking photos with their mobile phone rather than using a camera nowadays. Be it a selfie, scenery, portrait, etc. It’s kind like a very common situation and has become part of our daily life already.

In the past, if we want to print the photos on our phone, we have to either transfer it to our computer and save it in a thumb drive or a CD or Bluetooth transfer at the photo centre and get all printed out by them. The process is longer, especially if there is no photo centre nearby then we may keep dragging from one day to another day. And sometimes we may also even drag until the excitement to have those photos printed out has long gone. It happens.

What Is Printic?

It is a photo printing app. As you can see information on the main page of their website, Printicapp.

Probably not. It’s more than just a printing app. Let’s see. 🙂

What I find good of Printic compared to other similar apps is the convenience of retrieving photos from our phone and also from various popular social media account like Facebook, Instagram, Flickr, including Dropbox! 🙂 So, what happen was, once we place order via Printic app, they will process our order and have it printed at their closest partner to our area and get it mailed to us via mail.

What Can Printic Do?

1. Photobook

If you love to keep all your favourite photos in a photo album but just that you have no time to print it out and insert one by one to the album, then this is for you! 🙂

I believe most of us know that arranging printed photos into an album is quite time-consuming. In fact, I have two photo albums which are abandoned halfway until now, ha..! However, through Printic apps, we can have all of our pre-selected, up to 40 photos, right away printed in a photo book format. Less hassle! 🙂

Apparently, the layout is fixed to as following, one photo per page. We can re-arrange the order of the photos, which to come first and so on. Besides that, if you find white color background may be too plain and boring, we can change the background color to one of the 4 available color options: green, blue, yellow and pink.

2. Prints

I especially love this! 🙂 As you may know, sometimes I do organize Events with a bunch people who I may or may not know. And there’s a time after I was back from one of the trips, I used Printic to mail out one of our photos to few of my friends that I met in the trip and they were happy to receive it. I mean, if I were the one to receive it, I would be very delighted, too. It was like bringing back all those good times during the trip to the present. The photos are kept in a beautiful orange envelope, protected by normal mail envelope where the address of the recipient and stamp placed. It’s beautifully mailed. 🙂

3. Photobox

A few prints not enough? How about a box of printed photos? It will be good as if giving it as a surprise gift to someone. 🙂 The price is pretty reasonable for 50 prints, too. What’s more? Definitely, easy to keep! All the photos will be delivered in a beautiful orange color box. Yay! 🙂

4. Calendar

When all desk calendars at the retail store are no longer interesting, this will be a good idea to create a fresh calendar with our favourite photos! Well, I would say this may be one of the ways to show off some beautiful photos we have! 😀 Yeah, do I ring the bell for all the photography lovers?

I have always been loving customization so this is kinda cool and considering it is free shipping or I would say the shipping fee is already included, the price is still quite reasonable. 🙂 Especially when we have some close friends or family which staying at the other part of the world, it saves all the troubles to print and sends them all the photos. 🙂

5. Poster

Why not? Rather than buying the additional painting, or any other home decorations, it will be nice if can make good use of nice photos we have hanging on our wall instead. All our pre-selected photos, up to 35 photos, will be printed as big photo collage sized at 50cm x 70cm. Imagine that one section of our house wall is full of travel photos in various countries. From mountain to sea…from hiking to diving….or just simply a bunch of photos with laughter and smiles of our dearest family members and friends. Happy and fun moments all captured and hang on the wall. Wow..wow..wow..….Wouldn’t it be awesome?

Like what I said earlier, what make me love Printic apps is the convenience. The interface is clean, friendly and straight forward. Plus, the personal touch. It may have been forgotten long time ago but for me, to receive an actual printed photo with personalized message – something I can touch and keep, it gives different feels compared to when I only see a photo on our phone, laptop or desktop. And about the quality, I’ve seen few prints sent by Printic, and it’s good so far. 🙂

Printic is available for iOS and Android devices. So, you can just go to Apple Store or Play Store to download the free apps and create an account to store your necessary information like addresses and orders tracking.  It’s never been this easy to print photos! 😀
